Important Info for the First Few Days of School!
Fri. July 31
Freshman Orientation at 6PM! - We will begin in the Cafeteria & then students will meet their teachers & run through their schedules while parents receive important information about starting high school! Parents can also pick up Parent Portal login info in the Library (must show ID).
Mon. August 3
Registration Day 8AM-11:15AM - Students will receive their schedules in the gym beginning at 7:20AM, then will go to their STORM class (formerly known as advisory) to receive registration paperwork, followed by a shortened version of their class schedule. Registration day is a required attendance day for high school students. Students who miss this day for any reason will need to bring in an excuse to turn in on the next day they attend (doctor’s note or parent note).
*Note - On Registration Day, students who have "holes" or blank spots on their schedules (ex. no 1st period or no 3rd period) for 1st semester, students who have classes at WSCC, and students who have classes at West will come to the Library and sign in during those periods on their schedule. No one will be able to go to Guidance the first few days of school as they will be busy registering New students.
*Wed. August 5
First Full Day of School for students - Students will attend classes on a regular schedule, beginning with 1st period. Students will attend STORM every day after 2nd period.
*Note – On Wed. Aug. 5, students who have classes at West WILL ride the bus to West. The bus picks students up in the front of the building near the fountain (The Goose). Make sure you are out front quickly! The bus will not wait!

Please remember that your 2015-2016 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov by February 15 in order to remain TN Promise eligible. Please reference page 8 and 19-20 of your student handbook for additional FAFSA tips and details!

Parent Portal login and password information can be picked up from the Main Office between 8AM and 3:00PM Monday-Friday. You must present photo ID to pick up login information, to guarantee the security of your student's information
Transcript Fees - EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2012 - THERE WILL BE A $3.00 CHARGE FOR ALL TRANSCRIPT AND IMMUNIZATION REQUESTS. THERE WILL BE A FIVE TO SEVEN DAY PROCESS TIME ON ALL REQUESTS. THANK YOU, COUNSELING OFFICE
